Netsuite TBA Configuration

To integrate NetSuite data into Panoply using token based authentication (TBA), complete the following steps in your Netsuite account.

  1. Enable Rest Web Services, Client SuiteScript, Server SuiteScript and Token-Based Authentication Under the SuiteCloud tab in Setup->Company->Enable Features.
  2. Copy the Account ID from Setup->Integration->SOAP Web Services Preferences
  3. Edit or create a role that will include the following permissions:
    1. Setup -> Log in using Access Tokens
    2. Setup -> User Access Tokens
    3. Setup -> REST Web Services
    4. Reports -> SuiteAnalytics Workbook

The connected role must have permissions to the selected resources. See the full list of permissions needed here.

  1. Assign a user to the same role you've edited or created in step 2.
  2. Create an integration under Setup->Integration->Manage Integrations->New
    1. Make sure that only the Token-Based Authentication is checked
    2. Once created copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
  3. Create an access token under Setup->Users/Roles->Access Tokens->New
    1. In Application Name, select the integration you've created in the previous step
    2. Select the user and role you've set
    3. Once created copy the Token ID and Token Secret

Use the Account ID, consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token ID and Token Secret you've copied in steps 2, 5 & 6 in order to complete the configuration of your Netsuite TBA data source
