Workbench multiple queries ability

Panoply now supports the ability to run multiple queries directly in the platform's workbench. That means that you no longer need to run one query at a time but instead run them all together and paginate through the multiple results.
As part of this change, each running query and result will have the following options:

  • Export
  • Copy Query
  • Cancel Query

Xero (v 2.0.0)

Panoply now supports the collection of data from Xero.

What You Need To Know

When setting up the Xero data source, you will need to log in to your Xero account and select which organizations you wish to connect to Panoply.

The following Xero items may be collected:

  • Accounts
  • Bank Transactions
  • Bank Transfers
  • Batch Payments
  • Branding Themes
  • Contact Groups
  • Contacts
  • Credit Notes
  • Invoices
  • Items
  • Journals
  • Manual Journals

Workbench reports

Panoply now supports visualizing results as pie, column or line charts directly in the Panoply workbench.
Each chart type has it's own required result structure:

  • Pie Chart - The result must have 2 columns and the second column must be numeric.

Pie chart will show up to 6 slices. If there are more than 6 slices, the sixth will combine all the data into Other

  • Column Chart - the result must have 2-4 columns and the second, third and fourth must be numeric
  • Line chart - the result must have 2-4 columns and the second, third and fourth must be numeric
