To integrate NetSuite data into Panoply using token based authentication (TBA), complete the following steps in your Netsuite account.
- Enable Client SuiteScript, Server SuiteScript and Token-Based Authentication Under the SuiteCloud tab in Setup->Company->Enable Features.
- Copy the Account ID from Setup->Integration->SOAP Web Services Preferences
- Edit or create a role that will include the following permissions:
- Setup -> Log in using Access Tokens
- Setup -> User Access Tokens
- Setup -> REST Web Services
- Reports -> SuiteAnalytics Workbook
- Assign a user to the same role you've edited or created in step 2.
- Create an integration under Setup->Integration->Manage Integrations->New
- Make sure that only the Token-Based Authentication is checked
- Once created copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
- Create an access token under Setup->Users/Roles->Access Tokens->New
- In Application Name, select the integration you've created in the previous step
- Select the user and role you've set
- Once created copy the Token ID and Token Secret
Use the Account ID, consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token ID and Token Secret you've copied in steps 2, 5 & 6 in order to complete the configuration of your Netsuite TBA data source
